Victor is an active performer, piano teacher, and piano collaborator who achieved a wide piano repertoire, playing anything from Baroque to contemporary music styles throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
Victor holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music, a Diploma in Piano Performance, and a Master’s in Music. He’s received multiple awards and scholarships such as the Zoya Solod Piano Scholarship, the Mitchell Sharp Commemorative Bursary, Emerging Artist from Arcady, National winner at CFMTA, Soloist with Xalapa Philharmonic, Silver Medalist at Mateo Oliva International Chamber Music Competition, Finalist at Guadalajara Piano Competition, and other competitions.
In Ottawa, Victor performed for the Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, worked for the Governor General Julie Payette, and other Ambassadors, and High Commissioners.
As a pedagogue, Victor is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, certified in composition, and counterpoint by the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association where he is also part of the council, and he is in the Teachers and Performers list of the University of Ottawa. He worked and collaborated with several music institutions such as University of Sinaloa, University of Guadalajara, University of Durango, Instituto Sinaloense de Cultura, University of Ottawa Summer Piano Academy, University of Xalapa, and others.
His students have been accepted to top programs including the Boston Conservatory and have excelled in several competitions and exams. Victor has given Masterclasses and Presentations in multiple universities and education institutes.
Some of his students have been laureates with top prizes in competitions globally.
